I have a txf file which has 204 transactions, when I browse for the file and select it on the importing utility it shows 1099-b(204), once I clicked import Now, the importing process is triggered and the import summary page is displayed. Clicking on the + button to expand the file just imported the 1099-b(204) is displayed. Until here everything seems perfect. I go to the Personal Income/ Investment income and select stocks, crypto, etc and update on the row i just imported it has only 100 sales instead of the 204. I made a test and imported the same file in 2022 Home and Business and it is working perfectly. I think we have a bug in 2023 TT

I have the same problem Turbo Tax Desktop Premier. I had to split 400 transactions into 4 separate files that were 100 lines or less. There is a bug with TXF import being limited to 100 lines.

No, I'm not paid to fix their bugs and we already reported it here. I - like others - have already sank enough time exposing them to benefit future updates/versions of TurboTax.
I called them and they told me they won’t fix the bug. I can’t believe this, it was working excelente in 2022
Here's my ragtag solution. This should not have to be done and TurboTax should fix this with an update this year I'd imagine. There will be many more with this problem come time to file.
Asking us to "call customer service" when we are reporting a bug in their interest here--on their forums--to improve the program and customer retainment is beyond me for logical.
This is scheduled to be fixed with the February 7 update. The updates generally happen at night. It should be available February 8.
The issue has been fixed but I really think this year TT has so many issues with the importing data and the manipulation of it after the import process. They split the transaction in 100 transactions, you can't edit the brokerage name or change any information of the import you created. I don't know what's going on but the changes are for worst nor for good. Very dissapointed
I'm using Turbotax premier 2024 and this import bug still exists. I imported from Fidelity - a connector TurboTax offers...but it only imported 100 stock sale transactions. Please fix this...again!
If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser. Make sure any VPN or Anvi-Virus is turned off.
See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes:
I am using a Turbotax download and Chrome.
You can import more than 100 transactions. Make sure you're running as Administrator, working on the C drive, and have turned off anti-virus software.
Make sure you have enabled 'third party sharing' in your Fidelity account.
You also could try doing a Manual Update to the program.
