Waiting is frustrating—refunds are taking longer in many cases. These are not normal times. It is not possible for TurboTax to speed up the IRS for you. They are short staffed; and they are processing millions of tax returns at the same time that they have been burdened with the task of processing millions of stimulus checks.
To check on regular tax refund status via automated phone, call 800-829-1954. (This line has no information on Economic Impact Payments.)

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

The IRS can look at your 2018 or 2019 return to issue a stimulus check. If they do not have a 2018 return then you may be waiting for them to finish processing 2019 before they will be able to use it to issue your stimulus check.
TurboTax has no control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it for you or tell you when the IRS will issue it. Refer to the sites linked below:

I never got my stimulus
@Itsmeeli Read the reply directly above your own post in this thread.
I am married filling separately cause my wife has been in another state dealing with her elderly parents. There is no such option on the stimulus form.
@I_am_me What are you doing filing anything on a "stimulus form?" Do you have any taxable income at all to put on an actual tax return? If so, that is what you need to do. If you use the "non-filer" site to get a stimulus check then you cannot e-file your "real" tax return when you want to. So be very sure what you are doing. Notice the warning on the non-filer site that tells you that you should not use it if you are planning to file a tax return.
And--what does your wife caring for her parents have to do with you filing as married filing separately anyway? You can still file a joint return even if your spouse is in a different state. That part makes no sense.
If you were legally married at the end of 2019 your filing choices are married filing jointly or married filing separately.
Married Filing Jointly is usually better, even if one spouse had little or no income. When you file a joint return, you and your spouse will get the married filing jointly standard deduction of $24,400 (+$1300 for each spouse 65 or older) You are eligible for more credits including education credits, earned income credit, child and dependent care credit, and a larger income limit to receive the child tax credit.
If you choose to file married filing separately, both spouses have to file the same way—either you both itemize or you both use standard deduction. Your tax rate will be higher than on a joint return. Some of the special rules for filing separately include: you cannot get earned income credit, education credits, adoption credits, or deductions for student loan interest. A higher percent of your Social Security benefits may be taxable. Your limit for SALT (state and local taxes and sales tax) will be only $5000 per spouse. In many cases you will not be able to take the child and dependent care credit. The amount you can contribute to a retirement account will be affected. If you live in a community property state, you will be required to provide additional information regarding your spouse’s income. ( Community property states: AZ, CA, ID, LA, NV, NM, TX, WA, WI)
If you are using online TurboTax to prepare your returns, you will need to prepare two separate returns and pay twice.

I never received the first stimulus payment, i checked the IRS website and it says its going to an account that i don't recognize, the number doesn't match my 2018 or 2017 tax return account information. Can you or anyone else help me?
I was totally eligible but NEVER RECEIVED ANY STIMULUS CHECK! I would really love to know why!
You say you are eligible---is it possible that someone claimed you as a dependent? If someone else claimed you as a dependent you will not receive a stimulus check.
