When will Form 3800 General Business Credit Area of Turbotax Business be available?

I got to this page, and it says to continue while waiting for that to be available. So I did, and when I get to the end, it gives me the choice to file. But it skipped over that area!  And when will it be available??Screenshot 2024-02-15 095731.png

Use this tool to look up when your individual tax forms will be available in TurboTax. You can search by TurboTax product and for IRS or state-specific forms.

When will Form 3800 General Business Credit Area of Turbotax Business be available?

I got the same message but mine states the form is expected to be ready on 02/16/2024. It is now 02/17/2024. I had a software update yesterday but it did not update that part of the software. It shows Form 3800 as available but I still get the same message. I'm done with the rest of my taxes so I don't know how long I should wait for the software to update the step-by-step section.

When will Form 3800 General Business Credit Area of Turbotax Business be available?

General Business Credit Screen.jpg@CatinaT1

Hi! I'm filing a 1065 Partnership and I'm stuck at Form 3800 as well. I went onto the form availability page (https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotaxbusiness_fed_windows_partne...) and it shows the form is available. On Turbo Tax desktop screen it says it will be ready 2/16/24, today is 2/17/24. When I went to update the software, it says I'm up to date. Nothing has changed. The same message appears. Please advise.

I am using the same 1065 with the same messaging.  Today is the 18th and I updated the desktop version today.

I see the same thing on 19 Feb 2024, with everything up-to-date and a full restart of TurboTax Desktop and Windows not helping either. This delay is costing me substantially. When will it be resolved?Screenshot 2024-02-19 at 11.11.09 AM.pngScreenshot 2024-02-19 at 11.12.08 AM.pngScreenshot 2024-02-19 at 11.14.29 AM.png

I am having the same situation :( I just checked for updates, again, and it says I'm up to date. Any changes for you?

When will Form 3800 General Business Credit Area of Turbotax Business be available?

Nope, no changes. There seems to be a lot of people having the same issue. One of the answers I read said that the Form 3800 release has been pushed back to Feb. 28th (even though it says it's available in my TT version). I'm hoping it gets fixed by then, if not sooner! If it's not fixed by the end of the month I'm just going to file without going through that section because I'm done with the rest of my taxes. This form is the only thing holding me up. I'm not even sure if I need to complete that section because that's the whole point in using TT for the step-by-step guide that's not working! I can pull up the actual form in TT if I click on the "Forms" button, then click on "Open Form", and type in "3800". It brings up a list of Form 3800 in 4 parts. If I click on any of them it says "DO NOT FILE" in red, at the top right of the page. Wondering if that means I don't need it or if it's just a draft and not the final version??? I wish someone would give us a straight answer!

Although the Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business may indicate that Form 3800 is ready for filing, there have been recent developments that required additional updates to the form. The revised Form 3800, General Business Credit, is estimated to be released on February 28, 2024. Update your software the next day, run Review again, then try your entries again.
