You can enter a 1099R for a conversion to a ROTH in Deluxe.  If you sold stocks in your 401K or IRA you do not report the sales.  Only report the 1099R.

 

If you sold stocks in a personal account outside of the IRA you need online Premier or any Desktop program.

I have similar question ... I hit upgrade... select the new version ... get to "Lets complete your purchase screen".

Hit continue.. but nothing happens

Please try clearing your cookies in your browser and then log back into your TurboTax software.  Many times, this will help clear the issue and allow you to log back in.

This did not work.. I also tried changing default browser from firefox to chrome and edge and

that did not work

Yes, you are correct. Adjusting screen resolution can be useful.

Thats just not true. You cannot use form 4562 in turbo tax deluxe. It will not allow you to populate.

Turbotax deluxe will not allow the form 4562 to populate. Its just a dead jpeg.

If you mail the state tax return in instead of e-filing. it shouldn't cost additional

@gcsaab If you are using the CD/download you can mail your state return and avoid the $25 state e-file fee with the desktop software.   If you are using the online software you have to pay for the federal and the state.  With online, the fee is the same whether you e-file or mail the return.   When you use online TurboTax, the fee is for using the software; the fee is not for e-filing.
