I only have entered it once and it keeps showing that i did it twice. I go to delete it all entirely and redo. And it still shows up twice. Not sure what to do.

Please try this. Go to Tax Tools, Tools, Delete a Form. Find the 1099-G and delete it. It is possible that there are two copies of the 1099-G. If there are, then delete both of them.
Then sign out of TurboTax. Sign back into TurboTax and you should have just a Start to the right of Unemployment and Paid Family Leave.
That should remove all traces of the problem entry and when you enter your 1099-G, the amount should no longer double.
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I am still having issues. I emptied my cache. Restarted my router. Tried to also use my computer instead of my phone. I also made sure my app was up to date. Even uninstalled and reinstalled.
@A_Miles How frustrating.....this has been reported and we are awaiting further advice.
@xmasbaby0 Customers need to delete out the old forms and re-add the 1099-G. There are some steps from a Tax expert's previous post that might help
@A_Miles Please try the Expert's solution shared by @TasnimH2 in the last post. Please let us know if this helps you out! Thanks!
Thank you @TasnimH2 and @Kat. but unfortunately i am still having the same issue. In my initial post, i have tried deleting it in its entirety numerous times. I also have tried to empty my cache. Restarted my router. Tried to also use my computer instead of my phone. I also made sure my app was up to date. Even uninstalled and reinstalled.
As of today, the issue has been fixed. Click here: 1099-G
If you are filing with TurboTax online, let's also do these steps:
You will receive a Form 1099G when you either receive a state tax refund or unemployment. Unemployment compensation amount will show on line 8 of your Form 1040. State tax refund will show on line 1 of your Schedule 1 which will also carry over to line 8 of your Form 1040.
I am not sure if you can see my earlier reply to someone elses post literally right above yours but i have done this already.
In my initial post, i have tried deleting the unemployment entry in its entirety numerous times. I also have tried to empty my cache. Restarted my router. Tried to also use my computer instead of entering it on my phone. I also made sure my app was up to date. Went as far to even uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well.

That did it! Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the help, @MaryM428!!
Hooray for @MaryM428 !!!
I filed my federal refund yeaterday and got a tax form in mail today from unemployment do i need to claim this?
@Mandyhugs27 Yes, you do need to enter the unemployment income.
Because you've already e-filed your return, you'll need to wait to see if the IRS accepts or rejects your return. IF, by chance, your return is rejected, you'll be able to add this unemployment income before re-submitting your return. If your return is accepted, you'll need to file an amended return (Form 1040X) to correct your original filing. You won't be able to do this until sometime later in February.
So for now, just wait and see what the IRS does when tax season opens, on February 12.
