TurboTax website does not seem to save amounts entered for U.S. government interest for the 1099-DIV. It keeps saying the entry "Needs Review." Is there a workaround?

If you have not been able to resolve this issue yet, try closing out of TurboTax and clear your cache and delete cookies. Then sign back into your TurboTax account. If that does not work, try a different browser.

That's a bug in the Online software that's just been discovered in the last few days as the Brokerages just released millions of 1099-DIV forms over the weekend..  (not a problem with the Desktop software).

 

It may take a few weeks to get fixed....check on Fridays, since software updates usually occur only on Wed or Thurs evenings.
