Do you want to use the Online web version or the Desktop CD/Download program?
With the Online version you have to go onto the internet to the Turbo Tax website and actually log into an account you setup. In the online version the return is kept on the Turbo Tax server and not on your computer. Although you can and should download and save them to your computer. And you may need to upgrade to a higher version to enter certain items.
With the Desktop version you can prepare and print unlimited federal and unlimited state returns and efile up to 5 federal for free (IRS limit). And it has what if scenarios and you can see and enter directly into the actual forms. Oh, and all the versions have the same forms so you can use a lower version. State is $24.99 each to efile but it is free to print and mail unlimited returns. If you buy the cd at the store the Basic version does not include the state. And Deluxe is available both with and without the state. Because some states don't have an income tax. Look around for sales at stores, Or you can buy a cd or download the program here, https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
My tax or stimulus check that was 600.00 went into the wrong bank account. I have updated my banking. My boyfriend called his bank that my 600.00 went into and they told him to tell turbo tax to recall my money. The bank cannot do anything

On my 2020 Turbo Tax software. My 1099R It has BOX 14, It has STATE TAX WITHHELD but on my paper1099R. My STATE TAX WITHHELD is BOX 12. I am unable to proceed until I resolve this problem. My retirement board states they did not make a mistake. I am trying to contact you to see if there is a mistake on your software? I have update my software several times. Please respond ASAP
It sounds like you may be trying to enter the 1099-R as some other type of form.
The 1099-r forms on TurboTax software has a state tax withheld on a different box than my paper can 99r form that I receive for my Retirement Board. They're both the same 1099-r form so I'm not sure what you're talkin about. Retirement Board claims that they made no mistakes. Why are there different box numbers on both software form and paper forms for the state tax

The TurboTax software uses the exact same box numbers for the Form 1099-R as does the IRS Form 1099-R for tax year 2020 - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1099r--2020.pdf
Boxes 14, 15 and 16 for state taxes.
