Yes. You can run it. TurboTax for Windows only comes in a 32-bit version. There is no 64-bit version. It's not necessary.
Hello,
I work at Office Depot and I have a customer who is running windows 10 64-bit operating system. Her TurboTax Deluxe will not allow her to run the software because she has a 64 bit system but software is for a 32-bit operating system, no 64 option is available. She gets an error code that says "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax\Deluxe2019\32bit\TurboTax.exe'
What should she do in order to run her software? She has already uninstalled and reinstalled, she has taken down her firewall, cleared her cache, made sure Java & windows are up to date, defragged, cleared recycle bin, restarted and reloaded from CD and online download, following steps each time. Done everything she has found on other troubleshooting forums. STILL same error.
Please help.
I am not a support rep, but only a Turbo Tax user.
Per this thread, there is no 64-bit Windows version for the 2018 version of TT. I assume the same holds true for the 2019 version since I am running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro and have the 32-bit version of TT installed. The program EXE file is located in the folder you listed on my PC and the program runs fine. Is it possible that the customer installed the program to another drive (e.g., D:) and the shortcut is pointing to the the C: drive? I don't know why the shortcut would have been created with the wrong drive letter reference, if that's what the problem is, but that's the message that Windows would generate if it was unable to locate the EXE file in order to run it. The first step would be to verify where the Turbo Tax.exe file is located on the customer's PC. Apparently, it's not where it's supposed to be.
Does the new version of turbotax 2020 work with a windows 10 64 bit processor? Screen stops while running app and ends up with a screen with a blue dot.

This year 2019,
we are in 2024
Oh, you want to install the 2019 program? Sorry that's not possible anymore. You can't install or reinstall 2019 anymore. They only support the last 3 years and recently took off 2019 when they moved 2022 to the past year section. And 2019 was the first year they started using the License Code to activate the program. You can't activate it now. It will fail.
Some people at the end of this thread found how to bypass the activation for 2019
