Waiting is frustrating—refunds are taking longer in many cases. These are not normal times. It is not possible for TurboTax to speed up the IRS for you. They are short staffed; and they are processing millions of tax returns at the same time that they have been burdened with the task of processing millions of stimulus checks.
IRS phone lines supported by customer service representatives for both taxpayers and tax professionals are not staffed at this time. To check on regular tax refund status via automated phone, call 800-829-1954. (This line has no information on Economic Impact Payments.)

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

6/9/2020: same issue. We filed at the beginning of February, 1040 accepted no issues... never had a problem; direct deposit. Used TurboTax flawlessly for nine years, we've always got out refund within 4 weeks. Now it's "Still processing, a refund date will be provided when available."
Calling to get a live person is impossible. Each option (no matter what you choose) gives this recording: "We're sorry but due to extremely high call volume for this topic, we are unable to answer your call at this time. Please try again on the next business day." Tried calling early in the morning M-F, still got the same message.
The IRS is short staffed and taking longer this year. See this IRS page for the latest information

Same here until today. Now it's even telling me the info I entered in Where's my refund app and site is wrong. 😳
Try calling the WMR automated hotline 1-800-829-1954 instead.
TurboTax does not receive updates on your refund status after your tax return has been accepted by the IRS.
Please see this information from our expert @ToddL99 on why your tax return refund may be delayed: Refund Delay.
