etrade has made 1009s available. I can see my 1099-consolidated but when I go to import in turbo tax it saying there isn't any tax related info to import. can you import a consolidated 1099 from eTrade? they list 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-MISC, and 1099-OID.. seems I used to be able to import a consolidated 1099.

Please see the below TurboTax FAQ for information on when you will be able to import your consolidated tax statement.
When will I be able to import my 1099?
Your answer really does not help much. The article you link us to says " If your forms aren't ready yet in TurboTax, we'll tell when to expect them." Previously, until today, when I attempted to import E*TRADE 1099s TurboTax would present a screen to me informing me of dates forms should be available. Today TurboTax takes me directly to a screen asking me to log into me E*TRADE account. I do that, and receive the error message "1099 Forms not available." No additional information is provided. Like the original poster, I can see the documents in the E*TRADE tax center. I understand perhaps they are not available for download, but would like to know when they will be available for download.
I have the same issue and same messages in Turbo tax for my E*Trade 1099s
Have you tried this E*Trade website page yet? 2022 year-end tax-planning checklist (Note: Question 5)

YEP, I already have the 1099s from E*Trade.
But I am not interested in manually entering all this data
I pay for TurboTax so I don't have to do that.
I need to be able to import the data
Please see this Help Article for information regarding when you will be able to import 1099’s.

Well, we have gone full circle. The help article you link to is the same help article I referenced in my original post. It says " If your forms aren't ready yet in TurboTax, we'll tell when to expect them." So please do that, tell me.
I have the same issues listed in this post and a similar complaint about TurboTax. I've come to learn over the years that the so-called "Employee TurboTax Specialists" basically specialize in not answering questions directly, usually referencing to the same unhelpful article time and time again, as has happened again here. I had a live chat conversation two days ago with someone from eTrade who said that successful importing should begin by 2/15, so hopefully we'll see such success in the next 24 hours. I'm not sure whether the issue is with eTrade or TurboTax, but sad that TurboTax doesn't provide helpful information.
I have the same problem importing my 1099 form. I tried all the suggestions, but none worked.
I received an email this morning FEB 15,2022 from E*trade that my forms were ready to download.
I tried to download them but got the same message "forms not available for user". I called E*trade
[phone number removed] and spoke to someone but they didn't seem to have a solution.
Yep, I tried again this morning as well.
Another failed attempt
TurboTax please pick up the phone and call Etrade, and get this issue resolved! We paid nearly $100 for your software as it has the Gainskeeper program in it... But it's not downloading my info...
There is another thread where someone has contacted TurboTax and they admit it's their problem but have ZERO information on when/if it will be fixed.
To the TurboTax professionals, please stop sending people to help articles that don't help. By this time all your representatives should know about this issue. Sending me to the same FAQ just increases the frustration. Admit the problem. Give a time frame. Fix the problem.
Ok, a look at other threads on this board this has been a known problem for YEARS. I switched to TurboTax several years ago. Beginning to regret that decision.
New message when you try Etrade. It now says that "ETrade Securities is under maintenance". So maybe they're fixing it?
