I have yet to receive my net federal tax refund ($1200- 70 turbo fees) of $1,130. My tax return was accepted by the IRS on FEBRUARY 13. I can't seem to get anywhere with an answer when to expect this check. PLEASE advise asap. Mary Akins
@makins0623 Due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic, the IRS is experiencing delays. Additionally, although the IRS provides a guideline of 21 days to release most refunds, some refunds take longer to process based on various reasons including certain credits claimed. The FAQ below serves as a reference:
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
I am checking on my federal refund I have a receive it as yet
@Tisaacs10
Turbo Tax will not have a status on your refund. If the IRS website says processing, this means they are working on it.

I entered the wrong stimulus payments by mistake...meaning my tax refund is showing as I should get more money when I actually shouldn't. Should I file an amendment right away (returns just submitted and accepted 2 days ago) or should I wait for IRS? Thank you for your time.

The IRS will adjust your tax return accordingly and remove the credit from your federal tax refund. There is no need for you to amend the filed tax return.
NOOOOOO ... do NOT amend for an incorrect stimulus payment ... the IRS will correct this "math error" themselves automatically ... expect this to take longer to process than normal.
I am really frustrated right now. Talking this out with a human being would really help.

If I claim my 21 yr old daughter as a dependant on my taxes, will she have to pay an insurance premium?

What insurance premium are you referring to? The requirement to have health insurance or pay a penalty was removed from the federal tax code after tax year 2017.
I need to change something on my return new email address and a new phone number
If you have already e-filed, you would not be able to make any changes to a pending return. You can however change your email address and phone number on your TurboTax Profile. You can also use the FAQ link provided below to reach out to TurboTax customer support for assistance:
