I seem to be stuck at the beginning of my Estate taxes. What would I enter as first name, last name, dob, and address for an Estate?

Are you doing an Estate tax return? You need to use Turbo Tax Business, not to be confused with the personal Home & Business version. Home & Business is just for personal returns that need schedule C for self employment. TT Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. You can buy the Windows Desktop program here,
https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes
You can have both a personal program and the Business program installed on the same computer at the same time.
You will get a W2 or K-1 from the business return to enter into your personal return. So you will need to do the Business return first.
"my Estate taxes" ???
I hope you mean someone else's estate return since you are still alive. Or did you mean your trust return since both go on a form 1041.
I think you mean that you are filing an income tax return for an estate, Form 1041. That's not the same as an estate tax return, Form 706. If you are not clear about the difference, you should consult a tax professional.
To file a Form 1041 income tax return for an estate you have to use TurboTax Business (which is not the same as TurboTax Home & Business). There is no TurboTax software for a Form 706 estate tax return.
I apologize for the confusion. I am filing taxes for an Estate. I am the Personal Representative. I am currently using Turbo Tax Home and Business. When I first begin, it asks for a first name, last name, dob, and address. I am unsure what to provide in the fields as it is for an Estate and not an individual.
The reason for your problem entering the name is that you are using the wrong TurboTax product. You cannot file a Form 1041 tax return for an estate with TurboTax Home & Business. You have to use TurboTax Business, which is a different product from Home & Business. TurboTax Business is available only as software that you install on your Windows computer from a CD or a download.
@irbki You are using the WRONG PROGRAM. See my first answer above to get the right program.
Ohh ok. That makes a lot of sense. I didn't realize there was that much of a difference between the two products. Thank you!
