Error in TurboTax 2024 Desktop

I am using TurboTax 2024 Deluxe (desktop), but this error likely exists in all versions. The IRS identity protection PIN (IP PIN) numbers now being issued are 6 digits, but TurboTax only supports 5 digits (the length of PIN numbers used on 2023 taxes). Per the IRS:

No one using a PIN can e-file with TurboTax (desktop) until this error is fixed. How did such an obvious change get overlooked at Intuit and when will it be corrected?

If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file.  Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
