E-filing

Tried to E-file 6 times and wanted to pay by credit card for state. The default option is to deduct from your return. Each time it took me to log in, which I did, the first page is to confirm billing address, which I did, and there was no way to get to the tab for 'Payment Information'. I finally gave up and did the deduction from the return since it would take forever to get someone on the phone. As I was doing all the consent forms, they looked familiar, because the same thing happened last year. What a sham for an extra $40. And I've been paying for this Premier product since it came out!

Are you using the Online web version or the Desktop CD/Download program?  You have to go slow and read all the screens.  In the Desktop program there is one screen that can trip you up.  You have to be careful which button you click on to continue.

Using the desktop download. There is no button to continue after confirming billing address. Can’t get to card details. 
From TurboTax filling, options are ‘credit card’ vs ‘deduct from refund’. When you tap either icon it automatically goes to Intuit sign on and then the billing with the tabs, first one being confirm address. Tab for credit card remains great even after I re-enter info manually.

E-filing

The billing address for the CC must match the mailing address on the return in the MY INFO section which is why the address is greyed out.   So if the billing address on the CC is different you need to go back to the MY INFO tab ... put the CC billing address in there then go to the FILE tab and put the payment in then before you file return to the MY INFO section and put the correct mailing address back.

It’s the same. There was no reason for the issue and at this point it’s moot until next year. I was just venting. Thanks for trying to help!
