Does anyone else hate turbo tax as much as me..... just asking?

Apparently it's not saying much to assert that TT is the best choice for doing your own taxes. In other years I've been able to get the job done without call the help line. It's great that you can call. After about an hour on the phone with them (no wait time) we discovered a feature (bug) that was not there last year. Was is still there is that TT forgets your data entries when you go back to some pages in order to check your work. It is tedious to go back and forth, repeat information. This happens in the step by step for Fed and State, and in the payment sections

I do! Won’t be using it anymore. Fees are too high, taxes are very confusing, charged me for state taxes when I didn’t file them…….

I hate turbotax they does've live support. I want to upload a document and login does not let me.

I've always used turbotax (20yrs running) and I have been audited twice.  My last audit was the result of questionable advice from a live turbotax "expert" on depreciation schedules.  There is a recording of the call where I question the validity of what the expert is suggesting and they assure me that it's correct and won't trigger an audit.  Well, it triggered an audit and cost me nearly $1K.  Not to mention 3yrs worth of re-filing amended tax returns.  

When I called to make a claim based on the guarantees I couldn't get a human.  Finally got a human who said they can't help give advice for the audit.  Said they might pay for the interest, but won't cover any other cost.  The subsequent accountant fees are going to be killer.

Anyway, don't use turbotax if you have anything that isn't "plain vanilla" in your taxes.  Disappointing! Especially the lack of customer service.
