I did my return last year with TurboTax Premier 2020.
I purchased TurboTax Premier 2021 this year, and tried to start a new return by transferring from last year's tax2020 file. It showed a "Nothing happens" screen, and then nothing happens.
I tried starting a brand new 2021 return from scratch. After ~30 minutes in, I saved the return, exited the program, started it up again, tried to load the return I was working on, and got a "tax file is corrupt."

Start with making sure your OS is up to date ...download and install the updates then reboot the computer at least twice then open the TT program and update it as well. See if that helps.
Yes both OS and TT is update to date.
has your problem been solved? it's not clear from your answer.
Sorry I meant both windows and TT was already up to date when I ran into these issues.
Has anyone run into these issues before?
Make sure you are in a user that has admin privilages and that the TT program is installed on the C Drive. If you still need help call TT support :
