I read that I'm eligible and my grandson is who I claim since his moth, my daughter, has been unable to work last 6 years but is still awaiting to get disability approval from Social Security. I don't feel dhe should be punished because she is limbo between no longer able to work, so I claim her since I help her out, and not yet on official disability through Social Security. That seems highly unfair to her.

I claim my 20 year old son who is a student on my taxes as a dependent, he also files. Does anyone receive a check for him?

Someone being claimed as a dependent is not eligible for a stimulus payment.

If you have a dependent child over the age of 16 in 2019 you would not receive the $500 stimulus payment for a dependent child.

If u go through turbo tax you won't get a stimulus. I'm still waiting and I filled 2018 and 2019 through these people. I suggest you really weigh your options when picking out these places, stuff like this shows thier true colors. Almost everyone I know got theirs. But nobody from turbotax.
