TurboTax is aware of the problem and is working with Developers to resolve it soon. Form 8915-F does show as being available on the Form Availability List. However, some software updates are being implemented which has resulted in a delay. Please check back after 3/8/2024, update your software if you are in the desktop version of the software, and try to proceed with your return. (If you are online, the software will already have all updates loaded.)
this is unreal by turbo tax as I am in the same boat and can't file any taxes because it says FORM NOT YET AVAILABLE when you click Disaster for 1099-R. Every other tax company has this working-like tax act. Why is turbo tax the only one that is giving problems on this? This is embarrassing and very frustrating as a loyal user of turbo tax. FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is very sad since no material changes have been made to the form 8915-F. It appears somebody at Intuit messed up something in the code and now we get to suffer a long delay. If it is available by March 8 that gives us about a month to file which makes me wonder why I'm paying Intuit anything. May be time to vote with my feet.
The form is STILL not showing as ready - it will not let me file. I’m about to switch to another tax service. It’s sad because I have used TurboTax for years. Tell me when the form will be ready or I’m switching permanently. The irs had approved the form, and everytime I call for assistance with TurboTax all you guys do is tell me it’s the IRS’s fault even though I’m convinced this is TurboTax’s fault. Tax Slayer is looking really good right about now!
If it’s not ready by March 2 I’m gone! Somebody definitely messed up some code. Either way it shouldn’t take a month to fix!

What's the problem last year same thing? Do better turbotax
When will this form be available? “Check back” by 3/8, then 3/15 is not appropriate. I have already paid turbo tax, and it won’t let me file because it states the form is unavailable. Yet, you say it is available. Please elaborate more than “software updates”
I need a refund for what I’ve paid TurboTax. I’m taking my business to a much more competent tax filer. Please call me. You can see all my info linked to this reply. Absolutely ridiculous that all the other tax software has this form ready except for you all, and the form was ready from the IRS as of the beginning of JANUARY!
Here is a link: How do I request a refund for my TurboTax product?
It says on forms page that 8915f is ready,,so why haven't my taxes updated?? Still says waiting for irs? Help!!

Been with turbo tax for years! Can't belive they dropped the ball so bad on this! I have filled out my refund case..... doubt I will see that money again and I will never use them again!
They’ve got their thumbs so far up their butts, and this Catina lady is responding to us like she’s a bot. TurboTax literally only has to work for 3 months out of the year, and they’ve had since January when the IRS updated this form to have it ready. I have about 400,000 followers on TikTok, and I GUARANTEE I’m gonna hit TurboTax right in the wallet for this negligence. I have waited an entire month for them to have this form ready. I could have filed with tax slayer on Feb 1, so TurboTax has wasted a ton of my time. I am absolutely FURIOUS
Since we’re all here and we are going to switch, what do ya’ll recommend for tax prep software? I’m thinking about tax slayer? Ya’ll have any recommendations? I’ve only ever used TurboTax, but I’m not making this mistake ever again!
