What is causing error code 102345 when I try to open my return?

I am so frustrated, because I cannot re-open my 2021 Turbo tax deluxe and i am almost ready to file.  Tile name 2021 [PII] Form 10 Individual Tax , last modified 2/26/2022.  I worked on this last night until very late.  I do not want to start over.    Email:  [email address removed].

Please help.

Thanks,

PII

  1. Error 102345 turbo tax

<u>TurboTax</u> While opening a TurboTax record within the Windows device if you’re receiving TurboTax error 102345, then there’s a risk that you’re opening a non-tax record. This explicit factor occurs because of the misconfigured machine information. These machine information create registry mistakes to your OS.

What is causing error code 102345 when I try to open my return?

I'm having this same error! That article you referenced offers NO HELP - it hardly explains the problem and then recommends starting a new return.

FWIW, I'm using a PC that has been reset/reinstalled since the last opening of both the primary and backup 2021 files.  Have no idea if I at some point inadvertently tried to open another file type, but fail to see how that could corrupt both primary and backup files, especially when (if one's gonna try to open the wrong file type) neither would've been open in the first place.

I've also tried installing TT on another PC and same error.  In both cases, TT accepts my password before the error.

There's got to be a REAL solution to your problem.
