No W-2

I had no W-2 issued in 2021 yet I couldn't skip entering information either at W-2 entry and e-filing. What should I have done?

I suggest you try this

Federal Taxes  >  Wages & Income  >  "I'll choose what I want to work on" (button)  >  Scroll down to find Wages and Salaries  >  Click the "Start" or "Update" button on that line  >  Click "I don't have a W-2"  >  Click the "Continue" button.

TurboTax may have carried over a W-2 blank if you had W-2s last year. Try the excellent suggestion by Community member @bosso3.

You can also look for old W=2 blanks using Delete a Form.

1. Tap Tax Tools in the left column
2. Tap Tools
3. Select  Delete a Form in Tools Center
4. Scroll down and look for any W-2s and delete them
5. Click Continue With My Return in the lower right when you are finished
