Time-saving Tip: If what you entered is correct and you continue to get a reject, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return.

I am having the same problem!! It's so frustrating! I tried again for the third time by putting 0. We will see what happens!
Nope. Ended up going to Jackson Hewitt today... we’ll see what happens
Did your spouse die in 2019? That has been a problem.
Please let us know if it went though somewhere else. Or if it rejects there too.
Entered EXACTLY the same info into FreeTaxUSA, and my return was accepted within two hours.
I’m having the same problem I keep filling it out and keep getting emails that I have been rejected
IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM? Can u give me a few suggestions that may work?
I am having the same problem. I read that if you put 0 it should work. Apparently it's very common this year for a lot of people. I am crossing my fingers that it works for the third time.
The IRS uses your prior year AGI to combat fraud.

My tax return was accepted I recieved my state but they are saying my agi is wrong and how when turbo doesnt allow the wrong return why did yall change my agi to 10,082 when I put 22,018 turbo if yall dont start responding or explaining then I'm going to file a complaint of fraud
They are not responding because therre is a bug in TurboTax, and they don't want to admit it. Apparently, HRBlock has a similar bug. Use a tax program that doesn't have the problem. I filed the same return with FreeTaxUSA and it was accepted that day. Presumably there are other tax programs that would also work. (No, I dom'twork for FreeTaxUSA; I'd never even heard of them before last week.)
This amount I entered is AIG amount on my Federal 1040 Line 7 2018 form.
@JoanGerhart There are a few possible reasons why you’re AGI is being rejected. Please see the TurboTax for more information:
What if I entered the correct AGI and I’m still getting an e-file reject?
My spouse died during 2019. Filing joint married status. I prefer to NOT paper file.
I’m going to another tax free file to see if it’s still rejected
BTW my AGI is correct. Still rejected by IRS.
BUG be damned.
