I purchased turbo tax on bigtaxdeal.com. How do I verify the turbo tax software I downloaded is legit?

Apologies if this is out of line to link back to an old thread....

I also downloaded from BigTaxDeal for 2018 taxes. So far still no consequences or signs of identity theft. I recently started looking around for software for 2019 and I guess have gotten a little more skeptical and found this thread in the turbotax forums after perusing the google shopping results and questioning what I was seeing.

It looks like identical software sale setup now operating from BigTaxShop.com https://bigtaxshop.com/product/turbotax-2019-premier-fed-efile-state-for-windows-mac-osx-pre-order/ and intuitax2020.com https://intuitax2020.com/product/turbotax-2019-premier-fed-efile-state-for-mac-direct-download/. I'll find a legitimate seller this year rather than risk it, but thought I'd share the info here in case it should be reported officially somewhere if it is a scam.

BigTaxShop is a scam, hosted by Hostinger, UAB, Jonavos g. 60C, 44192, Kaunas, Lithuania, also with offices in 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The site will accept PayPal transactions, provide no products that are purchased and, after a week, PayPal will issue a full refund, which may take up to 30 days to process.

I also bought from this website in the end of 2018. I even called Turbo tax customer service to verified if it is a legit dealer before purchasing it, and I was told it is, so I went ahead and purchased it using paypal.

It is best to use only authorized resellers for TurboTax Downloads to avoid viruses, spyware, or other malware. Download directly from TurboTax.com or from a major online retailer. 

For a refund, please pursue the credit card used or PayPal account used for making this purchase. There is nothing TurboTax can do in such cases.

I just purchased and downloaded TurboTax Business 2022 from www.bighometax.com

The price seemed a little too cheap at 89.99. Walmart sells it for 109.99 and I just assumed both were "Early Black Friday" deal. 

I made the mistake of installing it and it appeared to install the same as previous installs, but when I double click to open it nothing happens. I immediately felt sick to my stomach.

I've locked my business cc. I hate the thought of cancelling it and getting a new card because of all that entails! 

Would someone please tell me where I can report this website?

Unfortunately that website shows that it is based in London, England so there is not to much anyone can do about a company not based in the US.

You can contact TurboTax support on Monday to report the website.

I emailed them demanding a review because the have the following at the bottom of their website stating they are an authorized reseller. I would like to think Intuit could do something about this, but I'm not a legal expert.

However, I do think I can dispute the charge with my cc company as this isn't true.

Anyone can put anything they want to  on their website ... scammers do it everyday.   I highly recommend you stop payment thru your CC if you believe this to be a fraudulent charge.
