I purchased the Turbo tax Deluxe software but can't find how to file for 2018 taxes. Can someone help with a step by step once the software is downloaded?

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

In the File section of the 2018 desktop program you need choose File by Mail

Then when you launch it it should start asking to prepare a new return.  If it doesn't then go up to File-New tax return

No I haven't downloaded the 2018 program, how would I do so? Or is this in the link? (Windows)

Once finished the software immediately took me to the 2019 taxes. How do I go in to do 2018?

Did you buy the right program?  Sounds like you downloaded the 2019 program.  You need 2018 here

You can keep 2019 if you want to do a 2019 return or get a refund or ask them to switch you to 2018

As stated you have to purchase, download and install one of the 2018 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
