@Richard canton Are you an Advantage member?   Was your Advantage account up to date for the 2021 software?   Was your credit card charged for the software?   If not, you can simply purchase the desktop software now from TT or from any of a variety of retailers who sell it for less than TT's price---Costco and Amazon have the CD/download for much less.

@eddygil1 Please explain----why did you buy a 2nd CD?  What are you trying to do?

Did you already install and activate the first CD?  Or was something wrong with the first CD?  You only need to buy the CD once.  If you need another copy you can call in and ask for it.  You don't have to pay twice.  1 CD Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 for free.  You can't get more efiles by buying another program.

Did you read though this entire thread?  Are you using the Desktop program? You can't use the License Code in the Online version.  Have you installed the CD or the Download?  Where are you stuck?

@Mimi23 Why can't you install your CD TurboTax programme on your laptop?

If your laptop doesn't have a CD drive, you can get a download. See I bought the CD, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive.

If the CD has already been registered and installed on another device, you will not be able to switch to the download product or you may receive an error message that says, "This product is already associated with another account."
