Your answer didn’t helped me I need to know the status of my process and why the tax expert hasn’t answer me any message I send him or her in the mobile app it only says is in progress but I haven’t got any news about my process how long it takes for the tax expert to meet me ???

There's also a chat feature for you to connect with a Live expert.

 

TurboTax’s Live chat feature is here to quickly connect you with a tax professional while you're working on your return.

This feature is available daily from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM PT.

To access the chat feature:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax Live account.
  2. Select Live help on your screen and select Let’s talk.
  3. On the How can we help you? screen, enter your question, and select Continue.
  4. On the next screen, select Start chat. You will be connected with a specialist as soon as possible.
  5. When you’re finished, closeout of the chatbox and select Exit chat.

If you minimize or lose your chat conversation, select Live help to reopen your chat window and continue.

I had an appointment to be called at 11 a.m. by my Turbo Tax expert. I don't believe he or sshe has called, or if they have, my phone treated it as spam. Please contact me at [phone number removed].

I finally contact yesterday an expert he told me to wait  so I’m going to do that

My expert said my taxes were being reviewed, it’s been a week and no communication on the status.  I have messaged her on the site but no answer.  You guys need to learn to communicate better.  How long does this review take?

Approximately 24 hours, see below.  After submitting your Offline Review request, here’s what to expect:

  • You’ll receive an email notification confirming that your Offline Review has been submitted
  • You’ll receive another email notification when your Offline Review is complete, usually about 24 hours later.
  • In your email, you’ll be directed to log back into TurboTax where your tax expert’s Offline Review message will appear in Tax Home.
  • You won’t be able to reply to your tax expert’s message, but they’ll include instructions on what to do if you still have questions.
  • No changes will have been made to your return by the tax expert, so it’s up to you to consider and implement any changes your tax expert recommends.

When I get an Expert Review in TurboTax Live, should I get a Live Review or an Offline Review?

I can't get a response from my "expert" either. Because of her, the IRS took an unauthorized $7k from my account and made it overdrawn. I had to pay my bank a stop payment fee for her mistake and may get hit with overdraft fees as well. I had already paid my taxes on the irs.gov site and she was aware of that when she filed. Now my back account is overdrawn and no one will respond!

    This absolutely does not work! I do not have these options. It says my return was accepted, but there is no chat option. My "expert" isn't responding and she has caused my taxes to be paid twice from my account and caused it to be overdrawn. I need someone to respond!
