I have entered my stock losses exactly as they are defined on my 1099 from Etrade. However, every time I try to file Federal to start my state, it continues to bring me back to Needs Review. When I open it, it states "Now, enter one sales total on this E-Trade 1099‑B". I entered a sales total of all of them since I was unable to import them from etrade due to too many. How can I get past this?

I have also removed and reentered it and deleted and reuploaded my 1099. Nothing works. I've tried rounding up and down, removing zeros. Please help before I leave Turbotax once and for all. I've spent hours on this one issue.
It could be a couple of possibilities. One is that the password was entered incorrectly, you will need to grant third-party access for Turbo Tax to import. Also, it could be that there are too many individual transactions to import as the limit is 1500.
As we do not have access to your account or return, rest assured, we are looking to provide a solution or viable workaround.

How do I import my 1099?
Thank you for this information however I am simply entering one transaction with the total. I have too many transactions so they do not import. I am entering the total Cost (sum of box 1E), Proceeds (sum of box 1D), and checking the box for Wash Sales. I only enter one transaction for Etrade. Any help would be appreciated. Seems like a big to me.
