How do I restart my taxes?

You do have the option Clear and Start Over your return. To choose this option:

  1. Click Tax Tools
  2. Click Clear & Start Over
  3. Confirm

While this will require you to redo the return in its entirety, it will also delete any and all forms associated with the return.

@FatemaMustafa If you need to clear and start over, as noted above:  

As long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can erase your return and start from scratch in TurboTax Online.

I can NOT get to the menu.  I get a connection drop (Turbo Tax) every time.  I can't get back to ANY of my info.  I need someone to contact me.

If you are unable to get to the menu, can you try logging out of your TurboTax account if you can. If not, that's fine. Try clearing cache and delete cookies. Then try logging back into your TurboTax account and see if the issue still persist. If it's still the same, you may want to use the FAQ link posted below to reach out to TurboTax customer support for additional assistance:

How do I restart my taxes?

So if you have "registered" -- ie. you have an account with TURBOTAX, and you've messed up, you're screwed?  

 

This is absurd.   I haven't mailed my taxes or transmitted them electronically--I want to start over, but TT is saying I'm done and must wait for an amended return.
