Are you filing a joint return? If so, you should remain consistent from year to year with the order of your names on the tax return. Please explain why you are trying to list your own name first. And....did you transfer a 2021 return in to the 2022 return already? What are you trying to accomplish?
Or.....are you filing married filing separately and trying to use your spouse's account? You cannot do that. If you start preparing another return in an account that has already been used by your spouse, you will overwrite the first return and it will be lost forever.
We can give you a better response if we know what you are doing---it is too hard to guess why you are trying to change the order of the names.
I am divorcing and this is the last joint return. I want to ensure after divorce that I am able to file as head of household while retaining the historical information. Also, what do you mean if I transferred a 2021 return into 2022?
Sorry you won't be able to transfer from 2022. You will need to start over in a new account.
If you used Turbo Tax you should start a brand new account next year for yourself and not transfer from the last year. You can not remove a spouse or switch the order of names.

And....you say you will want to file as Head of Household--will you have a qualifying dependent to claim?

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
