TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support. At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support". Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Start a 2024 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURNS !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

Last year, 2024 we submitted estimated taxes. This year, we were told DO NOT PAY upon completion of our filed
tax form. We recently received envelopes from IRS, but they didn't have any specified amount to pay.
Should I "trash" these envelopes????
To clarify, was there any type of correspondence in the envelope that stated a purpose for the mailing like it's purpose? Were there any codes that were mentioned?
Audit support is not available. I can only talk to my tax expert, who cannot help me.He can only tell me to contact audit support. TurboTax did not correctly fill out my state tax forms. A service I paid them to do correctly.

These are the links I keep getting directed too. But they are of no help at all. My state tax forms were not done correctly and I can't get in touch with anyone who can fix them.
If you got a letter from your State that your return was incorrect, they may have made the required changes for you, and you don't need to Amend your return. There should be contact info in the letter if you have questions.

Yes, I got a letter from the state, making a correction to my tax form. But even they did not properly correct it. TurboTax submitted the wrong tax form. So now you are telling me that I have to file an amended tax form to correct the mistake you made? I paid you to do my taxes, and now I have to do it myself? You are going to loose a lot of customers when I post my horrible experience all over social media.
Maybe I need to be a little bit clearer. It was the TurboTax Expert that made a mistake and submitted the wrong form. I did nothing wrong at all.
If you used a tax preparer thru the FULL SERVICE EXPERT option, then their contact information would be on the bottom of page 2 of Form 1040, since they are required to sign all returns they prepare.
That brings us back to the start of this conversation. My tax expert told me that he could not help me. And I should contact audit support. But they are not reachable. So nobody there can correctly file my taxes for me?
