I was just going over my returns I was looking for one thing and I found that, my info was incorrect, had wind numbers, was blank and forms were not full in. R more I went over both returns the more my panic and anxiety have become overwhelmed by what I missed forgot or put in wrong. Please tell me what I can do to rectify my imedeatly.

Hello bellaf81!
I am sorry to hear you are having these issues.
You might benefit from using our "Do my taxes for me" feature. This is when you allow a credentialed tax expert at Turbo Tax completes your tax return for you, for an extra fee.
Please sign into your Turbo Tax account and look for Do my taxes for me at the top right of your page and sign up there.
We look forward o helping you!
Hi Bellaf81,
If your initial tax returns were prepared by TurboTax Full Service Experts then having a TurboTax Full Service Tax Expert prepare amended returns to address any errors and omissions is a viable option, however, if your original returns were not prepared by TurboTax's Full Service Experts then 2019 and 2020 amendments would be out of scope for the Full Service Experts. Another option may be to visit a local accountant or tax preparer, in your area, to have them prepare and submit any needed corrections/amendments.
Hope that helps & good luck getting this taken care of.

Hello I’m trying to get a copy of my sons tax that I filed for him for 2019. He had it but it’s lost and he still hasn’t gotten his refund. How do I go about getting a copy for him?
Thank you

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
Hi 20805Joyce,
If a transcript will help, please see the info below:
You can get a copy for the current tax year and as far back as six years from the IRS.
It takes approximately 75 days to process a request for a copy of a filed tax return and the fee per copy is $50.
However, if all you need is a tax transcript, you get one from the IRS for free. A tax
transcript summarizes return information and includes adjusted gross income (AGI). In
most cases, a transcript has all the tax information you need.
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-utl/oc-transcriptorcopyofreturn.pdf
You can get various Form 1040-series transcript types online or by mail.

It keeps telling me to input my AGI but it won’t let me do it so it keeps rejecting my taxes

See this TurboTax support FAQ for correcting the 2019 AGI when using the online editions - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/01/26311
The 2019 AGI is shown on your 2019 federal tax return, Form 1040 Line 8b
If you are entering the correct 2019 AGI and the IRS continues to reject the 2020 tax return then enter a 0 (zero) for the 2019 AGI and e-file the 2020 tax return again.
Hi Granny11311,
You might consider electronically re-filing your 2020 tax returns first because you can use the IRS Special Instructions to Validate Your 2020 Electronic Tax Return which are:
If your 2019 tax return has not yet been processed, enter $0 (zero dollars) for your prior year adjusted gross income (AGI). For more info see the IRS instructions at:
https://www.irs.gov/individuals/electronic-filing-pin-request
To refile your 2019 tax returns, electronically, you'll need the AGI from your 2018 tax returns and you can find the 2018 AGI on Line 7 on Form 1040 (on tax year 2018 form) For more info, see the article at:
Hope that helps,
Ron
@rgreenfield11 Your advice to another user to e-file a 2019 return is incorrect. E-filing for 2019 returns has been closed permanently since October 15, 2020. Only some professional paid preparers have the ability to e-file a 2019 return. The only way for a TurboTax user to file a 2019 return is by mail. Only a 2020 return can be e-filed now---until October 15, 2021. After that, e-filing for 2020 returns will shut down and 2020 returns will have to be filed by mail.
Thanks. Appreciate the catch🙂!!!
