Hi, I've started my taxes on Turbo and there are more expenses that I need to add as a 1099 employee, but the form won't let me.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you received a 1099NEC you were not an employee. You were an independent contractor. You have to pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare as well as ordinary income tax. Your business expenses go on a Schedule C.
