My son purchased Turbo Tax Premiere download version in December from Amazon. In past, he has used TurboTax without creating Intuit account. He has downloaded 2023 software on his desktop. However, he has tried creating an Intuit account multiple times, using multiple browsers, yet he has had no luck. Always gets an error message. He has researched on Reddit, and it appears he is not alone with regard to the issue he is experiencing. He is about to give up and go to competitor software. Can he get technical support? Can he get a refund?

Make sure your browser has Javacript and cookies enabled. If the problem persists you can clear cache and cookies and then restart your computer, or try using a different browser.
None of the above worked for him.

I hope he tired a different browser to create his account after the first one failed.
.....or....if he tried to create one thru the TTX Premier software, perhaps he should try to create one separately on a browser instead, and then use that one for the TTX Premier setup.
Sometimes a browser's settings will cause problems.....also, if using a Windows computer, he needs to make sure his Windows OS is fully updated....waiting-or-partially installed Windows updates are known to cause problems.
He did try separate browser. Hope Turbo Tax specialist can solve this.
Another four days have passed, and no contact from Turbo Tax tech support. Very disappointing. You are about to lose a young customer forever. Please email me. Someone needs to figure this out. I will provide you with my son's contact info, so you can deal directly with him and solve this problem. With 63 eyes on this thread and reviewing Reddit posts, this is not an isolated problem.

Sorry you and your son are having those frustrating problems with TurboTax activation and account creation.
It's not clear if you or your son actually phoned TurboTax Support to seek help from a live agent. They won't contact you from this user forum, and they don't use email for customer support. If you've been waiting several days for someone from TurboTax Support to contact you based solely on this forum thread, it won't happen this way. They don't monitor and contact by that method.
