Cannot install Turbotax 2021 on Windows 11, how to resolve? After downloading, it gets stuck on "Activation."

Had the same issue:  a blank Activation screen.

Using a new Surface Pro 8 with Windows 11.

What worked for me was changing the scaling to 125% and the resolution to 1920 x 1080. 

Other combinations would show some of the dialog box contents but not all, or would not allow input even when the activation code text entry was visible - someone suggested moving the mouse down just in case the graphic and actual input area were misaligned - this did not work.

Other combinations of scaling and resolution would show part or all of the dialog box, but only the combo above worked for me.  I am sure that Your Mileage May Vary.

What Intuit / TurboTax should do is throw together a quick command line tool to allow running an activation from the command prompt.  Since the GUI is messed up anyway and requires this jiggery-pokery to get it working, using such a tool wold be a quick and easy work-around for users and a quick solution for both them and the tech support people.

My only issue was the blank activation screen. The changing of the resolution between steps worked for me. Thank you for the help!

I had EXACTLY the same problem.  Spent 2 hours (Yes, 2 HOURS!) on the phone with support.  I will say that the fellow with whom I spoke was patient!  He walked me through several potential solutions, but nothing worked.  NOTHING.  Finally, he emailed a link that I could use to request a refund.  It's nice, sure, but I don't want a refund.  I want their products (TurboTax 2021 Premier and TurboTax 2021 Business) to work properly, as they should.  It's VERY frustrating!!!

Try changing the screen resolution.   I had to do that as well when I downloaded CA to the business module as well as when I purchased audit protection.   It is a real pain to keep switching back and forth from the screen resolutions.

I am not an IT professional but I'm not a novice either. With said, I'm operating a new (one month old) Dell Inspiron 7506 with windows 11. When I installed TT2021 I experienced the same issues as that of the posters here. I followed the suggested corrections to no avail. So, using a Dell utility to optimize (installed by Dell) my computer bios and graphics drivers were updated. After rebooting and to my surprise TT2021 works as intended.

@CarissaM I actually tried that on my own before calling support.  It was one of the many troubleshooting actions I found and tried.  Customer support did have me update my laptop, which took quite some time even though it's brand new (I hadn't thought about the system, drivers, etc. needing updating). That didn't work at the time, but a day or so after my phone call, I updated my system again, figuring that it couldn't hurt.  That did the trick!  I don't know what particular update was done the second time but not included in the first, but it allowed the activation screen to come up (as opposed to the white screen I had been getting) and I could then enter the activation code.  Maybe all the planets were finally in alignment...

Will not install on Windows 11 Pro. THIS PROGRAM IS USELESS unless they find people to write GOOD installation programs. An OS should never cause this kind of problems.

I recently built a new computer with Windows 11.  I was working on installing Turbo Tax on it using the CD's.  What I found out is that when I ran the setup program, I had to access the dvd drive in Explorer and right click on the setup program and run it as administrator.  I had to run it as administrator until I had it activated and now it seems to be running ok.  This is true for the 2021 and 2022 Premium versions.  A lot of CD/DVD drives are set to use autorun.  If you do that it won't work.  Intuit obviously has some kind of problem here.
