BUG: Form 1040-SR, line 12c

I filed my taxes and then found a bug in Form 1040-SR:

Lines 12a and 12b are added into 12c, but 12c is appearing blank.

Later, the value that should appear in 12c is used, so the calculation is happening, but the 12c field shows blanks.

I cannot imagine the IRS is going to like that.

BUG: Form 1040-SR, line 12c

What version of TurboTax are you using?  Is the view the same in the regular 1040 or only in 1040-SR?

Are you able to view If you are in a Desktop version, are you able to enter the correct value in line 12c?

Are you able to delete and re-enter?

Please clarify.

BUG: Form 1040-SR, line 12c

It is TurboTax Deluxe 2021, Desktop, version [number removed]

In "View/Forms":

The regular form 1040 shows line 12C.

The 1040/1040SR worksheet shows 12C also correctly

Line 12C is calculated by TurboTax, so I would have to tamper with a few other lines.

Since I have already filed my taxes, I am not willing to do that.

My BIG QUESTION is, did the file sent to the IRS have 12C populated? Or blank ?

BUG: Form 1040-SR, line 12c

Is this a snapshot of the form in TT or from the PDF that you saved before filing?

You can certainly OVERRIDE that line and see if it changes your bottom line (tax due or refund). You dont have to save it, just exit without saving or save it to another name. It may be too small of a difference to care about.
