@Babin1234 You have not told us whether you used online TurboTax or the CD/download. If you used online then you are probably looking in the wrong account. Use the account recovery tool already provided to you to find the account you used.
If you use the CD/download then the tax file is on your own hard drive, unless you did not save the file.
If you e-filed and the return was accepted, then your refund may just be delayed and you need to wait for the IRS to finish processing the return.
If the return was rejected in April, what did you do after the rejection? Did you print it and mail it or just give up until now? If you mailed it then you need to understand that the IRS is taking six to nine months to process mailed returns.
If you cannot locate the account you used, then you will need to use the CD/download and prepare a return to mail in. It is too late to start a new return using online TurboTax.
Or....
-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Before this gets even more confusing, please explain what all you have done since your attempt to file in April.
This has been a problem for years now. When Turbo Tax does an update, it moves the return. I haven't been able to find out where. One commenter said he found it in the trash file. However, it obviously doesn't impact everyone-- just a few of us so Turbo Tax has not fixed the problem.
I wrote it down when I created it - I am not using the wrong user ID

No, I inadvertantly put in the wrong AGI figure on my TurboTax form and cannot correct it now. I will not take my correction.
I was doing it online on FEBRUARY 12. Loren (in Arizona) from TurboTas helped me until it was filed. I filed it, said Thanks and goodbye. Then a little while later my email informed me that the filing did not go through. I checked and discovered I had put the wrong AGI figure down - corrected it - but it would not take my correction and my efile was rejeted again.
Please see this Help Article for information regarding entering the correct AGI but still getting an e-file rejection.

I tried that, but it says I only have one account when I know I had 2. I can't figure out how to log out and back in, it only gives me one option.
I just updated the download version of TT and my file is gone, cannot find anywhere on my Mac, tried hints I found here but no luck. What now, Intuit?
Please tell us what your issue is and clarify what you are referring to in your statement, "I tried that." @spbrendasp
Confirm that your file did not accidentally end up in the Trash folder. @jcrystal
The missing file is NOT in the trash. I tried using Spotlight on my Mac, but no sign of the file

I have called Customer Support several times and can never reach a live person. Your automated system insists I explain what the problem is, and when I say some version of "missing data file" it always tells me how to find my 2021 return. Is there a trick to reaching a real person?

Try these websites -
Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax
When I finally got through I was told they never heard of this happening before (????) and that it hasn't happened to anyone else (????) and they couldn't help.
It's obviously a programming error. Someone at TurboTax has to look at the code and find and fix the error before hundreds of us call and post about it.
