I had the exact same problem. Then, this morning I switched browsers from Chrome to Firefox. Unstalled and reinstalled Turbo Tax 2024. The activation screen showed up with spaces for the activation code. Everything worked.
I had the same issue using the Firefox browser. Switched to Chrome and I had to keep hitting RESUME, but it downloaded and worked.

I too had this problem, and the next day I was able to activate using the icon installed on my computer. I can only guess as to why - there was a statement when I initially activated about an up to a four hour wait, so it may be an internal hold period at Intuit, but no statement on the activation failure screen - only that I was not connected to the internet, or there was a problem with a firewall. I worked with my virus protection group, and they determined that it wasn't them (this was quite the headache, by the way, it gives me pause to use turbotax again to be honest). Thus, a delay at Intuit, I am guessing. Anyway, try again the next day is my advice.
There was a glitch at Turbo Tax that no one could activate for a couple days but they fixed it. There was nothing the user had to do.
I had the blank activation window problem as well. I uninstalled the software, then used Microsoft Edge rather than Chrome to download from InstallTurboTax.com. Activation worked fine.
I have a different problem but similar. Have my receipt and activation codes from purchasing directly from Intuit. When I log into my account all prior year purchases show but 2024 is no where to be found. I enter the License codes in drop down and get an error and can't go further. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I had same problem with blank activation window. I did as RM999 has stated. Did not stay logged in on browser, no disable of McAffe, again activation window seemed to not work but left it same, after about 20 mins it came alive asking to choose TT login and then it worked. I am using Win10, TT Deluxe bought at Costco.
Finally got it to work after 3 days of trying. Had to manually enter the activation code. What they show is last 4 digits and the rest ####. Copy from website or manually enter the full code!!!

I have had the same problem for 3 days. So frustrating! I've uninstalled the program many times and reinstalled on two different browsers. Contacted support and spent 2.5 hours on the phone and this issue still not resolved. My computer is updated and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I believe it's an issue with Turbotax. I've used the CD for the last 15 years without any problem. This is the first time I've tried the download as they no longer have CDs.
I have the exact same problem. Home and Business as well. TurboTax 2023 will update but not 2024 so I am thinking this must be app problem. I deleted TT 2024 and reinstalled after disabling windows security and still will not open or update. Sick of issues with TT!
They did not fix it and user are still not able to activate their subscription. TurboTax Tech Support has no answers to their problem and why so many my people are having connection problems.
I just waited a couple of days and tried again and was successful.
I got to the installation phase where they ask you to verify pictures, it seems to be in a loop, I got 20 and still my answers were insufficentt to go forward
Tried again starting from beginning, same thing
