My daughter received a 1099-Misc for doing office work for some lawyers. I have entered her 1099-Misc income but when I run a review of her taxes I get an error that asks to link her 1099 income to a schedule, Why is this?

How or where did you enter it?  It should be on Schedule C for self employment income.  You need to finish filling out Schedule C.

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.  How to enter self employment income

If your daughter's income was reported on a 1099Misc then she is considered to be an independent contractor.  She is is required to pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare, since those were not withheld from her pay, and possibly pay ordinary income tax depending on how much she was paid in all.  She can complete a Schedule C to claim any expenses she had.
