Credit for COVID Stimulus payment

I file a joint return.  My wife passed away in January, 2020.  No stimulus checks were received in 2020.  TurboTax is providing me $2,400 in credits.  However, it is my understanding that amounts of stimulus credit must be returned if a taxpayer is deceased prior to the issuance of the stimulus checks.  However, do I adjust TurboTax's amount of $2,400 to $1,200.  It seems TURBOTAX NEEDS TO BE UPDATED as to include an option for instances when a taxpayer is deceased prior to the issuance of the COVID stimulus checks so that credits will not be overstated.

The program DOES need many updates before it is fully functional including that brand new section of the program that will have to be altered again due to the signing of the second stimulus package.
