My husband called...the "work around" was deleting the state taxes that I had just finished...and redo them or mail them in...mind you, we had already paid to efile. They won't submit...I'm pissed tbh.
After pressing the transmit now, I get a repeated message each time I press the transmit button. States that we need to make one more check, but before you e-file, we need a little more info that we didn't need earlier

Are you using Online TurboTax? Go to the Review tab and run the error check again to see if there's a clue.

I check for updates over and over again and get a message that everything is up to date over and over again, but still won't file. Rip off?

When I had the same problem I discovered that my state had not updated all their forms so Turbo Tax was unable to process them. Go to your state website to see if all their forms have been finalized. If not you will have to wait until they do🙄
I received an e-mail from customer service, on February 15,2022 at 9:28am est, to fix my problem of my Kansas State return being rejected. They told me to click on the upper right hand panel, selecting schedule A, opening that form.On schedule A on line 8 interest paid should not be checked. The line in box 8 was not checked, that did not solve the problem. The problem seems to be with line 12B, charitable contributions., $300 or $600. Please look at the return. I spoke to an intuit representative and he could not solve the problem. I have been two days trying to solve this. Would appreciate some appreciation, after fifty years using turbotax.
I have the same problem. quite frustrating. My Fed and other state return were accepted a month ago.
I am using TurboTax for business (windows desktop download) and I am trying to e-file my California LLC return I keep getting the same message: "But before you e-file, we need a little more information that we didn't need earlier" and am unable to file the return.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing TurboTax and this did not work. How can I solve this problem? Thank you.
I went through the reinstall/reboot/ hand enter data/ turn off cookies routines on Fed /CA difference forms a dozen or more times over a week or so before the e file workedFebruary 22 or 23, I think. That day I saved and closed down my return, and then restarted it. It got stuck on the updates installation for about 15 min, which gave me hope that this time the state forms Would be fixed and would work without that horrible request for a bit more info. Long story shorter, it worked this time. E file is done and accepted byCA..

Same issue here. Federal LLC return e-filed just fine. CA State e-file is stuck in a "We Need to Make One More Check" loop. No errors, nothing missing, no reason it should be having an issue.
Contacted Intuit via phone, told them the problem, referenced many others had the same issue on their online forum, 40 minutes on hold and was "transferred" to someone else and told I would get a call back after 20 more minutes of waiting. 30 minutes later I got a call from a tech and we spent another 20 minutes on the phone. He wanted to install an application that would let him remotely control my PC. It didnt work so he tried troubleshooting via other means. Ultimately he said there were known issues with the form 568 in California and that they are working on them. So, Ill give it a few more days and try again I guess.
This option is unusable on current home and business e-file. Turbo tax is disappointing with the help guide info.
There are at least THREE discussion threads (shown below) on this same issue, with the earliest beginning on Feb 10, and including state returns for Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Oklahoma. This issue is clearly a problem with the TurboTax software.
