    If you need to file a tax return for a previous year, you can purchase and download the software to prepare and mail the return from intuit.turbotax.com.

     

    Here is link to previous years product options:  TurboTax Previous Years Products.

     

    Alternatively, you can download the forms from the IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/prior-year.

      Hi Rachel:

       

      I have not done my 2018 taxes.  I understand to use TurboTax that I have to purchase the Intuit software.  IF I can find it elsewhere for less money, in an unopened and sealed package will I be ale to use it even though I didn't buy it online from TT?  Also, is that software capable of doing state taxes regardless of state?  Thank you!   Mike

      Yes, you can. Ensure you are buying it from a reputable supplier. Make sure you register the software before you start using it.
