I'm not sure what that has to do with it - whether I e-file or mail.  I still need a clean copy of the return to save and later print out the vouchers for mailing in the quarterly estimated payments!  I can't use them with the "DO NOT MAIL/E-FILE ONLY" superimposed on it.  I also e-filed federal and they didn't have that all over the saved PDF.   Doesn't make sense to me.

Wonder if this is a state issue or TT issue?  Do I need to switch after all these years to the HR Block program instead?

No help with that FAQ solution.  I also checked to see if the AL state forms were available, and they are.  They are also available on the AL Dept. of Revenue website too.   I tried downloading them again and they still show the watermarks.  TT gave me the pre-filled out 40-ES forms with the saved file, but I can't use them due to the watermark all over them.  Don't understand why TT can't fix this issue.  I feel like I should get a refund of what I paid for the state return!

When your state or the IRS have the forms available for publishing they will release them. It is not Turbo Tax that releases forms needed for a return. The date is based on the day specified by the IRS or the state.

It's possible the form is not available. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ on State forms availability for personal use.

I get what you're saying, but the forms ARE available from the AL Dept. of Revenue site, and TT even says they are available.  If they are available from the state, why can't TT fix the forms to remove the watermark???

As mentioned previously - the forms ARE available from the state (if I go to their website) and the TT availability table also states they are.  All I want is a clean copy of my filled-out state return and estimated payment vouchers.  I guess I just can't get an answer to this question.  I give up.

Tried contacting support via phone.  They had no idea why either!  What I really need is a contact to the TT peeps at Intuit who do tech support for the program.

Try this procedure -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

So, I'm done with my taxes and have e-filed them.   There is no "ADD A STATE" option that I can see.  I have previously already downloaded/saved the tax file PDFs.  Unfortunately, the AL state forms have "DO NOT MAIL/E-FILE ONLY" watermarked all over them, including the pre-filled out estimated payment vouchers (40-ES forms), making them unusable.   Can't seem to get an answer as to why this is happening (Fed forms are fine).  All forms are available, according to TT website and State Dept. of Revenue website.  All I need is a clean copy of the state forms.

Please disregard my earlier reply to you.  I did find the "ADD A STATE" option at the bottom of the page when I logged on.  I was able to go the route you suggested and re-downloaded the state forms and the watermark was GONE.  Yay!  Of all of the replies I received on this issue, you hit the nail on the head.  Thank you!
