Hi all,
I'm quite frustrated this is taking so much effort and that I have to post about it when it should be simple. I've downloaded my Tax Return document over and over from different links but it never includes a 1040, which I need for a home loan preapproval. Can someone please tell me how to find it elsewhere, or how to contact a TurboTax rep to get it?
Thanks!

How do I contact TurboTax for help
Thanks for the response. I've used that method over and over again - I am able to download my "Tax Returns," but what I need specifically is the 1040 form, which I assumed was supposed to come with the Returns. This form does not show up in my Tax Returns when I open them and look through them.
As for contacting Turbo Tax, the only methods made available to me were either 1) post here, on the forum, or 2) call the number given after I answered some questions, but unfortunately I don't have the "greater than one hour" wait time they apparently require. I JUST need the 1040. Perhaps there is another way I can recreate it outside of Turbo Tax?
The 1040 Form is your tax return. It looks like you are using the downloaded version of the software. As such, TurboTax has no way to access your return as it would be saved in on your local computer.
Here are a couple of other suggestions to help you get your tax file or locate your tax forms.
This should allow you to print your federal return.
If you do not see your federal return above, see if you can find your tax data file.
It would have needed to be saved onto your local drive since you are using the download version of the software.
How to find your tax data file
Thanks, but I am not using the downloaded version. I use TurboTax Deluxe online.
If you are using the Online version, you can follow the instructions here to get a copy of the return you filed.
