I am trying to find the EIN for the SSA as the actual employer. What is SSA's EIN?

If you worked for the Social Security Administration as an employee then you would have received a W-2 for your annual wages. Contact your employer for the W-2 which will include their EIN.
I am not employed at SSA. I have a client who is employed at SSA. What is the SSA EIN number?

Then ask your client to provide you the W-2 they received from the SSA. You will not get an EIN from a TurboTax web-based user forum.
I am having the same issue with filing my taxes for this year. Knows I am declaring income for Social Security, (right area/section) but will not let me process until I fill in Employer Tax ID (EIN) # to complete
There is no Payer ID for a SSA1099. You are trying to enter it in the wrong place.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
@TeaParty2 There is no EIN on the Form SSA-1099, so you are in the wrong section of the TurboTax program
To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button
