There is no "senior" rate for the tax.  You do get a higher Standard Deduction if you are over 65.  Check  1040 line 9 for it.

For 2019 the standard deduction amounts are:

Single 12,200 + 1,650 for 65 and over or blind

HOH 18,350 + 1,650for 65 and over or blind

Joint 24,400+ 1,300 for each 65 and over or blind

Married filing Separate 12,200 + 1,300 for 65 and over or blind

Income is taxed the same regardless of your age.

You do receive an additional amount added to your Standard Deduction if age 65 or older and this is handled by the program based on your date of birth

Standard deductions for 2019

  • Single - $12,200 add $1,650 if age 65 or older
  • Married Filing Separately - $12,200 add $1,300 if age 65 or older
  • Married Filing Jointly - $24,400 add $1,300 for each spouse age 65 or older
  • Head of Household - $18,350 add $1,650 if age 65 or older

The system would have detected your age and assigned the appropriate standard deduction. However, if you believe that you made a mistake and would like to amend your taxes, then of course you can do that.

You will have to wait until your return is processed and then go back into TurboTax and amend your return. Here's a resource to help you with amending your return:How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return? - Community
