It's not an estimated  tax penalty. It's an estimated tax   penalty   IRS requires you to establish your Required Annual Payment for the year and pay as you go. Failure to do so can result in penalties The penalty calculation is presented in the IRS documents on the IRS website.   If you don't trust the TurboTax calculation, there is an option to pay zero on 1040 and have the IRS calculate the penalty.   @Dlyth33

ThomasM125 Thanks for responding, I saw the info you provided and I agree. I also take a credit for taxes on our Oregon return for the state of New Mexico, from a rental property. So taking a different state (Arizona) personal property tax fro a park model/mobile home as stated in my original post won't create a problem with the credit for New Mexico taxes? Thanks
Instructions say to click on Download State Return but I do not have that option.

First, make sure your software is fully updated, and then try again by selecting State Taxes from the menu.   If the manual updates do not resolve the issue, there are some general FAQ troubleshooting practices for issues with TurboTax Desktop: To make sure TurboTax runs smoothly: Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. Make sure you have administrator rights on your computer and TurboTax is running as administrator: Right-click the TurboTax icon or setup icon and select Properties. If your payroll department utilizes one of the TurboTax import partners you should be able to import the W-2.  However, you will need to know the EIN, the amount in box 1 of the W-2 and the Control Number in box d of the W-2 to import.   See this for importing a W-2 - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/import-enter-w-2/L55HzdeDr_US_en_US

If your employer is partnered with TurboTax to allow the W-2 data to be imported into the software you can do that---but you need the actual W-2 so that you can enter the EIN and the amount from box 1 to import the other data from the W-2---which just saves you the little bit of keying in of the other information.   W-2's come from your employer, and they have until January 31 to issue it.  Some employers allow you to import the W-2 through the software, but for security reasons you still need information from the actual W-2 to import it. Some employers have payroll sites that will have your W-2. You might need to phone, text, drop in, email and/or snail mail an old employer to make sure they know where to send your W-2.     Every 2025 W-2 that you received must be reported on your 2025 tax return, even if they are for small amounts.  Remember that each one of those W-2’s has your Social Security number on it, and that income was reported to the IRS by the employer.  You do not want trouble with the IRS for under-reporting your income or have your refund delayed by having missing income.   ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return.     Go to Federal>Wages & Income to enter a W-2. After you enter the first one, you click Add Another W-2.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-forms/get-copy-w-2/L8FTim9MO_US_en_US?uid=m68ee4os   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/import-enter-w-2/L55HzdeDr_US_en_US?uid=m68efe36   And….SAVE YOUR OWN W-2!  TURBOTAX DOES NOT SAVE IT FOR YOU.  TurboTax will not have a copy of it in your account and will not have an image even if you snapped a photo or imported it.  It is up to you to save it for your own records as stated on the back of the W-2.
No you don't have to enter anything about the account you didn't take a RMDfrom.

And for SS taxable.   Starting in 2024 there is a new question asking if you lived in a foreign country. People were answering it wrong or skipping it. Go back through the Social Security entries and check, check for each spouse if married. If the IRS adjusted your return you do not need to amend. Check the top of the Turbo Tax Social Security Worksheet. There is a box to check if you lived in a foreign country.

At least for Idaho filers, I found that going into the forms directly and modifying the calculation for line 14 works to correct this issue and does not block electronic filing. It is obviously up to you on whether to try this or wait for Turbo Tax to complete their updates.   (1) Go to View -> Forms (2) Select Idaho Form 40 (3) Go to the worksheet for line 14 - "State And Local Income or General Sales Taxes Worksheet" (4) Override line e in the worksheet to match Federal Schedule A, line 5e (5) Double-check that the calculation matches the Idaho instructions   This is obviously a work-around, so, again, your call on whether to try this or wait.
