Since you are reporting gas lease income for Pennsylvania, you should follow these guidelines from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue:
You may deduct expenses you paid or incurred during the taxable year that are ordinary and necessary for the production or collection of rents and royalties or the management, conservation or maintenance of rents, royalties, patents, copyrights and similar property.
In the case of a gas lease, you can deduct expenses you incur to create the gas lease, such as cost depletion, geological surveys or legal fees associated with the creation of the gas lease. However, real estate taxes are not deductible expenses because they are personal expenses not directly related to the production of the rental or royalty payments.
You may also deduct percentage depletion based on the income you received. TurboTax makes this calculation for you, but you should confirm the calculation is 15%. The deduction is limited to the lessor of your taxable income from the property without regard to the deduction for depletion, or 65% of your taxable income from all sources without regard to the deduction for depletion.
See the PA link above if you have questions about other allowable expenses.

USER ERROR WITH SOCIAL SECURITY ENTRY
We have seen a lot of people who made a user error with the entry of their SSA1099. The screen right after you enter the SSA1099 asks you if you lived in certain foreign countries in 2025. If you skipped past that screen or answered incorrectly, your Social Security was not taxed correctly. Look at your Form 1040 and see if line 6b was left blank due to that mistake. The IRS is catching those mistakes and correcting them by reducing your refund or increasing your tax due. It is really so important to read every screen slowly and carefully from top to bottom as you prepare your tax return to avoid errors.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.
Your refund could be offset. The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts. You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for. The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.
Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

My vehicle registration renewal notice includes "Charlotte VFEE" under the "Vehicle Property Tax Information" section of the renewal. This leads me to believe that the Charlotte VFEE, a fixed fee, is considered a property tax payment. I believe this fee is used for road improvements and transportation. The only way is you need to have the file ending in .tax2024 from the old computer. What do you mean you tried "scanning the files"? Do you have any backups or use OneDrive, etc? You need to have the .tax2024 file on the new computer's hard drive. Usually it goes in the C: drive Documents in a Turbo Tax subfolder. Do not put it or save it in Windows OneDrive. I turned OneDrive off when I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11.

If you are using the TurboTax desktop program, all your entries should be made in the Step-by-Step mode and not in the Forms themselves.
If you could let us know which state is causing the issue you are facing and also provide more information about what you are needing to change for the pension/IRA information for that state, that will be helpful in getting the correct advice to you. Is it a pension/IRA exclusion for the state that is the issue? Or is it a determination of the taxable amount of the pension/IRA for the state that is the issue? Any and all information you can give us will be helpful.

I created a wash sale by purchasing shares in my Roth account after selling for a loss in our taxable account. For the sake of this discussion, the disallowed amount of the loss is $500. I downloaded my brokerage file into Desktop TT Premier. What and how do I need to adjust my TT file to document the wash (disallowing $500 of our loss)? Note: Since the purchased shares (creating the wash) were in a Roth account there's no need/benefit to adding the wash amount to the basis of the new shares.
