You said "based on worksheet H I should get a property tax deduction." Are you referring to Worksheet H in TurboTax or to a copy of Worksheet H that you filled out yourself? If you are talking about a copy of Worksheet H that you filled out yourself, compare your Worksheet H line by line to the Worksheet H in TurboTax. Where are the differences?
On your New Jersey tax return are you claiming the credit for tax paid to another jurisdiction?
If you are using TurboTax Online you will have to print your New Jersey tax return, with all worksheets, in order to see Worksheet H.

It appears that you have a non-taxable "rollover", as well as your required minimum distribution (RMD) to enter in TurboTax.
To clarify, your Form 1099-R will not typically list your RMD. It will list your total distribution from your account.
Additionally, if you moved money from one company to another, that would typically be considered a "rollover" and not a taxable distribution.
Let's address your "rollover" first:
Review your Form 1099-Rs, looking for Box 7, Code G (non-Roth) or Code H. If you see either of these codes in Box 7 of your Form, this is your "rollover" Form 1099-R.
For your normal distribution Form 1099-R, look for Box 7, Code 7 (non-Roth), or Code B (Roth)
To report your Form 1099-R with Code G/H that reflects your non-taxable transfer of funds "rollover" in TurboTax, do the following:
Go to Wages & Income
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click the down arrow
Select IRA, 401(k)...(1099-R) and click Start
Click Add a 1099-R
Answer the questions regarding the 1099-R, ensuring you complete each box correctly
Click on Continue
On the, "Tell us if you moved the money through a rollover or conversion", select, "I rolled over...to another retirement account"
On the, "Did you roll over all of the $ (Box 1) to another retirement account?" select, "Yes, I rolled over $...to a retirement account"
Now, let's address how to report your Form 1099-R, Code 7/B that reflects your normal distribution (including your RMD:(
Follow steps 1-6 above
Continue through until you reach, "Let's get more information about your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)", enter your RMD
How much of the distribution applied to your December 31, 2025 RMD? Choose whether entire, or "some of this distribution applied..."
You will reach "Review your 1099-R summary", press Continue (not the pencil) and additional questions will generate for you to answer
When you reach "Let's go over any required minimum distributions (RMD)", Continue (not the pencil)

I can create an entry for the $100 political contribution credit however TurboTax Deluxe Desktop will not allow me the full $200 credit that the Arkansas SB57 made into law on 1/1/2025. How do I override that $100 limit? TurboTax needs to fix this bug. Per SB57, approved during the 95th General Assembly of the Arkansas legislature, the political contribution limit for a couple was raised from $100 to $200. How do I make them aware of this bug in their software?

I have repeatedly tried to contact TurboTax about this issue. I get nowhere. I call repeatedly and after being on hold I'm disconnected. I've tried the chat during which I'm told they don't understand or can't provide any answers. They charged my credit card but so far I'm unable to use the product I've paid for. Any ideas?

For the 2024 tax return -
Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
What is the status of the 2024 e-filed tax return? What is the status of the 2024 federal tax refund?

Did you receive a URA payment or an ERA payment? They are both non-taxable.
Uniform Relocation Assistance (URA) payments are for moving, rent, and energy assistance due to eminent domain. Under 42 U.S.C. § 4636 and IRS Revenue Ruling 74-205, relocation assistance payments (including "replacement housing" or rent supplements) are considered tax-exempt.
Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) payments are not included in the household's gross income.
The 1099-NEC is typically used for "Non-Employee Compensation." By issuing this form, the government agency has told the IRS they paid you for work, which is incorrect. If you simply ignore it, the IRS computers will flag a mismatch.
You should report the 1099-NEC so the IRS sees the amount, then "deduct" it so you aren't taxed on it. Here's how to do this:
Enter the 1099-NEC
Go to Federal > Wages & Income.
Find Other Common Income > 1099-NEC.
Enter the details exactly as shown on the form.
When asked for the "Reason" or "Description," type: "Eminent Domain Relocation Assistance per 42 USC 4636".
Categorize it as "Not a Business"
You will be asked if this was a "Main Job" or if you "Intend to make money." Answer NO to both.
Answer NO when asked if it's "Involved in a trade or business." This ensures Self-Employment Tax is not applied.
After this you need to "Offset" the amount to make it non-taxable.
Go to Wages & Income > Less Common Income > Miscellaneous Income.
Select Other reportable income.
For the description, enter: "Offset for Nontaxable Relocation Assistance (Eminent Domain)".
Enter the amount as a NEGATIVE number (e.g., -$5,000).
Keep your documentation. You should keep the letter from the government agency confirming the eminent domain action, the breakdown showing that the specific payment was for Relocation/Rent/Energy assistance, and you might want to write 42 U.S.C. § 4636 and IRS Revenue Ruling 74-205 on it, so you have what statute and ruling makes the payment non-taxable.

I believe the web version of TurboTax does transfer your scholarship income used to pay for room and board to line 8(r) of schedule 1 to the extent it is taxable. I just set up a mock return to test this and it worked. If it is not working for you, you may need to review your education entries to make sure you haven't entered sufficient qualified education expenses to cancel out the scholarship income.

There are several reasons that could cause this problem.
Your federal refund amount has to be enough to cover both your TurboTax fees and the additional bank processing fees.
It may be limited by specific forms (e.g., Form 8888, 1040-SS) or claiming certain credits can trigger disqualification.
This option is only available for e-filed returns.
You cannot use this method if you are only filing a state return.
You can not request a paper check. It must be to a bank.
It must go to your bank.
The refund is processed electronically through an independent bank.
They charge a fee.
TurboTax gets their fee.

That would depend on what you chose when you were going through the filing process. You can select to have your federal and state refunds both directly deposited.
The address your refund will be sent to would be the mailing address listed on your tax return.
Your "Electronic Filing Instructions" form will show what you selected for your refund.
To find the bank account that you used for a TurboTax direct deposit, sign in to your account, and select "Tax Home," and then download/print your return PDF to view your routing and account numbers on Form 1040 (Refund section) or the Electronic Filing Instructions page.
You can also navigate to the "File" section of TurboTax to review the entered bank information.
