If you already e-filed you are stuck with "5 days early" if the return is accepted.  If it rejects you can try to remove that option in the FILE section before you re-file.       "5 days early" means you are supposed to receive your federal refund from one to five days sooner than the refund date shown on the IRS refund site.   If it does not meet that "at least one day sooner" date, they are supposed to refund the $35 fee.   You have to pay attention to the date on the IRS refund site. You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Are you trying to see if you can reduce your underpayment penalty by annualizing your income?  The original post was about the Tax withholding, which required you to enter how much of the taxes were paid during each time period.  It will also tell the total for what the withholdings need to be.   If you need to delete the under payment penalty form 2210, you can go to Forms mode (if using TurboTax download) by clicking Forms at the far right on the blue banner.  Find Form 2110 and click Delete Form, just below the form.  In the online version of TurboTax, click on Tax Tools on the left side menu, click Tools, then click Delete a Form.  In the listing of forms, find Form 2210 and click the trash can icon to the right of it to delete it.   If these answers don't cover the information you were needing, please provide more detailed information on the question you have, and errors or stumbling blocks that you are having, so that we can better assist you.

My Sister-in-Law has dementia and is in an assisted living facility. She is the Grantor for a Trust. Her Sister, my Wife is Trustee and her POA. I am a Successor Trustee and am preparing the Trust 1041.  On the Fiduciary Information Worksheet, I entered myself signing as Officer Representing Fiduciary and Title as "Appointed by Trustee".  Is that correct/appropriate?

I am using TurboTax Premier and Delaware State downloads.  I moved to Delaware on June 4, 2025 and started paying my estimated taxes to Delaware (beginning with Quarter 2) in June 2025.  My questions are: 1.  Why isn't TurboTax prorating my income for my Delaware Individual Resident Income Tax Return (2025 Form PIT-RES)? 2.  TurboTax is also indicating that I owe an Underpayment Penalty  because I did not pay estimated taxes for Quarter 1.  How do I fix this issue? I would very much appreciate help on this matter.  Thank you.
If I borrow with a personal loan and lend that money to real estate developers (flippers) for fixed interest income, is the interest I pay for the personal loan deductible?

If you manually entered your 1098-T, with the correct two-letter state abbreviation and zip code, and you still get a Review error, don't try to change it there, just skip to the next review item or indicate 'done with review'.  This should not prevent you from Efiling.  The 1098-T is not an income document that the IRS would reject for an address issue.    If you're not getting an Education Credit, you actually don't need to enter your your 1098-T and could delete it from your return;  just keep it for your records.    @ashleyhawkins3

dmertz thank you for that helpful reply.  That is also my guess, and concern: "you have constructive receipt and the transaction would be a distribution and rollover."  As a followup  to that, if that were treated as a rollover, could a digital asset be rolled over from one custodian to another in a self directed IRA?  ...without having to liquidate it first?  I know several sdira custodians will receive a transfer in-kind of the digital asset without it first being liquidated, but I should find out if they could receive a rollover of the asset.

I have been checking the IRS "Where is my Refund" site. After putting in my required information I was able to view my IRS Tax return "Refund Status Results" and it changed from "Accepted" to "Sent". The IRS stated on their website the refund was sent to my bank on February 19th 2026. However, today is February 20th and it is not showing in the Credit Karma account that Turbo Tax marketed that if I used I would receive my refund 5 days earlier than if I did not use them.  According to the promise made that if I used their "Bank" I should have received my funds direct deposited into the Credit Karma Bank on February 14th.   With this Broken promise or false advertising to get you to sign up with their bank using misleading statements to gain my business. Is there a way to dispute the Turbo Tax charges or is Turbo Tax going to refund the money Turbo Tax charged to correct their misleading  advertising?

No, you do not need to amend your 2024 return. Marking “Yes” on Schedule B, Line 7a when you don’t have any foreign accounts is seen as a minor administrative mistake. Because there’s no unreported income or missed FBAR filing, the IRS won’t penalize you for it.

2025 TurboTax Premier is not transferring vehicle information and depreciation from the previous year. I started putting the information in manually but soon was asked questions I wasn't sure of like total depreciation. I have copies of my returns from those years so I know special depreciation was used the first year but no clue how to calculate what number to put on total depreciation. Please advise. Hopefully someone will tell me that an update will take care of this.
