Even though it appears as non-started or start, the program still recorded your entries. If there are numbers appearing next to the start or non-started button, then the program properly recorded your entries. Also if you use TurboTax Online, you can go to:
Tax Tools

View Tax Summary
Here you can get a summary of all your entries on your tax return that you recorded. If you use the software, you can go to the forms mode so you can see if all your entries were recorded.

Hi, My spouse will not earn any income this year. Also, she's not a full-time student but has had some health issues after giving birth. So, this year I got allocated some money through my employer for Dependent Expenses (DCFSA = Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account) hoping that I could use this money to pay for my daughter's preschool this year. My questions are these: 1. Would I be allowed to claim the credit even though my spouse is not working? 2. If the only way to claim that credit is by saying that my spouse is mentally/physically impaired, what kind of proof is required? a letter from a US doctor/psychologist? If I cannot claim that credit any way, do you know if it's allowed for my company to take me out of that DCFSA so that I don't lose that money (even though I understand it'll be part of my taxable income)? or I have completely lost it regardless? Thanks for your support!

Will this require that the Authenticator app has to ALWAYS be used to sign in? If not, then it is not secure.

It depends. If you are issuing these to your contractors, a 1099 NEC should be filed instead of a 1099 MISC.

I have been trying to update a business address on Quick Employer Forms. When I got to my businesses, select the company, and then select Business Details, it brings everything up as I should and lets me start making the changes. But every time I hit the save button, a blank screen just appears and nothing is saved. I have tried clearing my browser, using a different browser, and even doing a private browser, all with the same issue. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

Yes, dividends are taxable, reinvested or not. So you have to report reinvested dividends as income.
The reinvested dividends will increase your cost basis of the shares.

It is automatic based on your age. It is not part of your Standard Deduction. The new Senior Deduction is separate and in addition to the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions on 1040 line 12e. The 6,000/12,000 senior deduction will be calculated on 1040 Schedule 1-A page 2 Part V Enhanced Deduction for Seniors which goes to 1040 line 13b. Turbo Tax automatically includes it if you qualify. For Online version you can preview the 1040 https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/accessing/help/how-do-i-preview-my-turbotax-online-return-before-f... The maximum deduction is $6,000 for each person 65+. The phaseout is 6% of the amount by which MAGI exceeds $75,000 for single or $150,000 for married filing jointly (MFJ). The MAGI is normally the same as your AGI on 1040 line 11 but with some Foreign items from Form 2555 added back in. On a joint return the phaseout is calculated separately for each person, so the 6% phases out for each spouse. You can not get it if you file MFS Married filing Separate.

Yes, follow these steps to enter your 1099 NEC so that it reports as a Medicaid waiver payment that qualifies as difficulty of care. Log into TurboTax Go to Wages and Income Once you finish answering questions about income, make a selection to add more income if you are working in TurboTax online. Select Other Common Income and then select the downward arrow to expand the section. Select 1099 NEC Next screen will ask what type of income is this. Select Medicaid waiver payments that qualify as difficulty of care in the list of selections that appear on the screen. Next enter the 1099 NEC Now the 1099 NEC is recorded but the income reported isn't taxable on your return.

No, you will not receive a Form 1099-R for the 401(k) loan, it is not reported on a tax return.
