This usually happens because the 1099-NEC was entered in the "Other Income...1099-NEC" section, but TurboTax sees that you also have a Schedule C (Self-Employment). If you received this Form 1099-NEC for your business, you will need to enter it by following these steps:
Go to Income
Scroll down to Self-Employment (Schedule C, 1099-NEC...expenses) and click Start
Add the line of work, then Continue
Select one of the three options on the, "How do you classify this work?" screen
Continue answering the questions about the line of work until you reach the, "Your_info" screen
Review your entries, then select, "Looks good" at the bottom of the screen
Next, you will reach, "Let's enter the income for your _ work", select the first option, "Form 1099-NEC, for nonemployee compensation"
Next, enter the information from the Form 1099-NEC you received, then Continue
You will then be able to add any expenses which you incurred during this line of work
Note: Ensure you delete the first 1099-NEC by clicking the trash can icon next to it so you don't have duplicate entries

As has appeared on multiple other posts, this still doesn’t tell taxpayers whether the IRS will think you have failed to file a form since the federal tax ID number on the 1099 misc isn’t included anywhere or your submission. It’s not even clear whether this information is ever transmitted to the IRS anyway - if you were filing taxes by paper, you wouldn’t include the 1099 misc form you received, so how does the IRS match your return to the specific 1099s in those cases? im just focused on ensuring my numbers are right - the IRS is going to have to tell me they want an amendment if I did it wrong at this point.

"so I found a page that says "total missouri subtractions from the other state: Kansas" - was this on a white sheet or was it on a form? Is this referring to line 4 on the MO-1040? I am sure that you thought of this, but in many places, Missouri tracks income and expenses separately for the spouses. Any chance that adding these things back together created the 377?
